Jets acquire No. 3 pick from Colts in blockbuster trade
The New York Jets have made the first major move to shake up the NFL Draft order.
The Jets and Indianapolis Colts have agreed to a trade that will see the Jets land the No. 3 overall pick in exchange for the sixth pick and three second-round selections.

The move ensures that the Jets will have their choice of at least two of the top quarterbacks in the draft and possibly more, depending on what the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants do with the first two picks.
The Jets are in dire need of a long-term solution to the position. They have a quarterback for 2018, but a good season could see him cash in elsewhere, and their failed pursuit of Kirk Cousins has opened the door for an alternative. The Jets will hope they can find that in the draft.
