It’s been an eventful week for J.J. Watt. Tuesday, he called out Pro Football Talk for what Watt perceived as “saltiness.” On Thursday, Watt unveiled his first signature shoe.
Allen Iverson, Yao Ming, and Shaquille O’Neal have had signature shoes with Reebok in the past. The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year now joins them. Watt posted a couple of photos of his new kicks on his Instagram account.
When asked about price and date of availability, Watt said they will retail for $99 and be in stores July 15.

Stephen Curry recently had his new signature shoes from Under Armour roundly criticized. Time will tell if opinions of Watt’s shoes are generally favorable or not, but this man has already weighed in with his thoughts.
