Johnny Manziel has officially reached a deal with prosecutors in his domestic violence case, and it requires the former Cleveland Browns quarterback to meet several conditions over the next year.
CBS DFW reports that Manziel has agreed to a “Conditional Dismissal Agreement,” which is essentially a contract he must honor with the court in order to have his case dismissed. Court documents obtained by TMZ show that Manziel has been ordered to complete an anger management course, attend a domestic violence victim impact panel, fulfill all his responsibilities with the NFL’s substance abuse program and not have any contact with his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley.
Manziel reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement with Crowley months ago in which he was given a two-year protective order.

There is still no word on whether Manziel is planning an NFL comeback attempt. He was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season — during which he remained a free agent — and could still be suspended for the domestic violence incident despite the court deal. Given some of the disturbing claims Crowley made against Manziel, the NFL could come down hard on the 23-year-old.
