Josh Gordon talks about support he has received from Tom Brady
Josh Gordon made his debut with the New England Patriots on Sunday, and he was able to contribute with a catch in the red zone early and another snag later in the game. Tom Brady was seen going over to Gordon after the second catch to give him an extra pat on the back, and the troubled wide receiver says that has been the theme since he arrived in Foxboro.
After New England’s dominating 38-7 win over the Miami Dolphins, Gordon spoke about how supportive Brady has been over the past two weeks.
Josh Gordon on Tom Brady: "He's been rooting for me and it's been awesome to have his support and his love, as well as the rest of the teammates and staff here. Tom's a passionate guy and I love that, and I love the game of football. And I think we're going to mesh just fine.” https://t.co/Jg6v5YLT73

Brady has said very little about Gordon publicly, but the two have obviously made an effort to get to know each other in a short period of time. With Julian Edelman returning from his four-game suspension next week, Gordon could be a part of a much-improved Patriots’ offense going forward.
Gordon’s off-field troubles are well-documented, but he has a great opportunity in New England. We’ve already heard Bill Belichick heap some praise on him, and the Patriots could certainly use Gordon’s athleticism if he’s able to keep his head on straight.
