Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a serious ankle injury during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, but any reports about him undergoing surgery were apparently premature.
Not long after Beckham was carted off the field, the Giants announced that the star receiver has a fractured ankle.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported on Sunday that Beckham was headed for surgery immediately after the game, but the team says that report was inaccurate.
Beckham, who dealt with an ankle injury during the offseason that kept him out in Week 1, is obviously going to be out for a while. It would be a surprise if he played again this season.
