Russell Wilson suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins, but Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll indicated on Monday that the injury will not force the quarterback to miss a game.
In an appearance on 710 ESPN in Seattle, Carroll described Wilson’s injury as “nothing very serious.”

Carroll says "he'll make it through'' indicating he won't miss any playing time. Does hint he may be limited in practice.

Carroll added that Wilson is dealing with swelling but all of his X-rays and tests came back negative.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported earlier in the day that Wilson’s injury is “significant” and it could force him to miss next weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Rams. While the play where Wilson was stepped on by Ndamukong Suh looked painful (video here), the 27-year-old has not missed a game in his career. We’d be surprised if he misses his first in Week 2.
