The Baltimore Ravens have made a major move ahead of the NFL trade deadline.

Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Diontae Johnson has been traded from the Carolina Panthers to Baltimore, according to multiple reports. The deal involves a pick swap, with the Panthers acquiring a fifth-round pick and the Ravens getting Johnson and a sixth-round pick.

Johnson was traded to the Panthers in March after he spent the first five seasons of his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He made the Pro Bowl in 2021 after hauling in 107 catches for 1,161 yards and 8 touchdowns. Johnson has 30 catches for 357 yards and 3 touchdowns in seven games this season.

The Ravens had been mentioned as a potential suitor for Davante Adams, Amari Cooper and DeAndre Hopkins prior to all of the veteran wideouts being traded to AFC teams.

Baltimore now has an impressive wide receiver group that includes Johnson, Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. They also have a strong tight end duo in Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Between the passing game weapons and an elite running game with Derrick Henry, you could say Lamar Jackson has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal.
