A mean New Orleans Saints fan pulled a jerk move on a Bengals fan during Sunday’s game between the teams.
Jermaine Gresham scored his second touchdown of the game and went towards the stands to toss the ball to a Bengals fan he spotted. The plan looked like it would work out well if it weren’t for the Saints fan who went after the ball hard and ripped it away from the woman like he was boxing out on a rebound in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. The woman was left begging for the ball and had this incredulous face:
Fortunately the story has a happy ending. The Saints saw what happened and brought a ball to the fan to make amends.
“I think it was a great show of sportsmanship…and it was amazing that (the Saints) did that,” the fan told WWL. “Everyone was on our side, saying to give (us ) the ball. The Saints fans were amazing and I wouldn’t expect anything less. I’ve lived here for a couple of months now and I think the Saints fans are great. We got a lot of support.”
