Saquon Barkley returns as full participant in Giants practice
Saquon Barkley is getting closer to being 100 percent healthy.
Barkley returned to New York Giants practice on Sunday as a full participant for the first time since tweaking his hamstring on Aug. 13.
The Sunday #Daily5:
1. Saquon Barkley was a full participant in practice for the first time since tweaking his hamstring Aug. 13. He looked really good running and cutting. He's going to be good for Week 1 barring a setback. #Giants— Jordan Raanan (@JordanRaanan) August 27, 2018
Barkley has been trending in the right direction. On Friday he told reporter Josina Anderson that he felt good and would be ready for Week 1.
The Giants open up the season on Sept. 9 against the Jaguars. Big Blue is counting on big things from their No. 2 overall pick.
