Brian Schottenheimer will reportedly be the new offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday that Schottenheimer, who spent 2017 as the Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback coach, had landed the job.

Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reported that the Seahawks had been impressed by his ability to work with a mobile quarterback.

With that in mind, the hiring could lend some credence to the notion that the Seahawks will adopt a new offensive gameplan in 2018. Schottenheimer has extensive NFL experience as an offensive coordinator, having served in the role with both the New York Jets and St. Louis Rams, though he wasn’t always popular in those jobs.
