The Cavaliers were without one of their usual players when they faced the Raptors in Toronto Wednesday night. Center Samardo Samuels didn’t make the trip with the club to Canada because he lost his passport. The Cavs have been working with him to get new documentation the past few weeks, but matters have also been complicated because Samuels is from Jamaica.
The Cavs ended up losing 92-77 and are now 3-3. Samuels has averaged 7.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in 16 minutes per game this season. Seriously though, you’re already on the fringe of the team and you let a paperwork issue keep you from playing? That’s straight out of the D-League playbook.Google+
