Charles Barkley thinks Baylor has some ugly uniforms

It seems as if nobody is a fan of Baylor’s neon yellow uniforms, except for maybe adidas, which is getting plenty of notoriety from them. The Baylor uniforms were unveiled earlier in March along with the creative tournament threads of Cincinnati and Louisville. Kansas coach Bill Self already shared his negative thoughts about the human highlighter sticks, and now Charles Barkley has.

“Those are some ugly uniforms,” Barkley said during a CBS/Turner Sports break in the Bears’ opening-round NCAA Tournament win over South Dakota State. “If you’re going to wear those ugly uniforms, you’ve got to play well.”

Baylor was able to silence Self by beating Kansas in the Big 12 tournament, but like Barkley says, they have to continue playing well to back them up. They’ll have to — their ugly colors aren’t doing anything to help them with recruits. But if there’s one consolation for Baylor in this criticism from Barkley, it’s that at least he didn’t call the players ugly.
