Christian Yelich has hilarious mishap prepping for Home Run Derby
Milwaukee Brewers slugger Christian Yelich is preparing to participate in Monday’s Home Run Derby, but things went awry when he got a little practice in at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
The Allegheny River sits outside the stadium behind the right field fence, and while practicing, Yelich went deep that way. The ball went so far that it shattered the window of a boat parked on the river, and police were called.

Yelich had already thrown down the gauntlet for his derby appearance. It sounds like he’s ready to back up the hype. Some poor Pittsburgh-area boat owner found that out the hard way.
