Los Angeles Dodgers fans are coming under fire for their behavior in Game 3 of the NLCS.
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio had to leave Thursday’s game due to an apparent hamstring injury. In the seventh inning at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif., Chourio took a hard swing at an 0-2 offering by Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen and fouled it away.
But Chourio, who has dealt with a hamstring issue in recent months, immediately came up gimpy and was barely able to put any weight on his right leg. Chourio briefly got worked on by a team trainer but ultimately had to exit the game and hobble into the dugout. He was replaced in the game by Blake Perkins, who finished out the at-bat and also replaced Chourio in center field from there.

As Chourio was coming out of the game, Dodgers fans pulled a classless move — they began audibly booing Chourio. Here is the video of the full injury sequence (in which the boos from the home crowd could be heard).

It is unclear why exactly the Dodger crowd was upset (possibly because the Chourio injury delayed the game that the Dodgers were winning 3-1 at the time). But it hardly gets any more tasteless than to boo an injured player.
The NLCS matchup between the Dodgers and Brewers has been characterized by some bad fan behavior. During Game 2 of the series in Milwaukee earlier this week, a Brewers “Karen” fan made a comment on video about ICE and got fired from her job as a result.
