Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was involved in a scary looking collision with teammate Howie Kendrick on Thursday night. Fortunately, it appears both players avoided any type of significant injury.
Kendrick hit Puig in the throat area with his arm as the two were trying to track down a Mike Trout fly ball. Neither was able to make the catch, and Puig remained face-down on the ground before eventually leaving under his own power.

Earl Bloom of MLB.com reports that Puig was examined by doctors and everything checked out fine.

We’ve seen Puig have some nasty collisions with the outfield wall in the past. Fortunately this one turned out OK.
