Patrick Beverley emotional following grandfather’s death
Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley is going through a difficult time.
Beverley learned prior to Game 4 against the Spurs that his grandfather died on Sunday. The Rockets guard was naturally emotional ahead of Houston’s playoff game.
ESPN Spurs writer Michael C. Wright described Beverley’s state.
Something is going on with Patrick Beverley. He was crying when he walked in. Was warming up, stopped, sat down & started crying again.

Beverley still started the contest and made Houston’s first points of the game with a 3-pointer. As he headed back to defense following the shot, you could see some tears in his eyes.
