Rajon Rondo says Bulls still belong to Jimmy Butler

Rajon Rondo said all the right things when introduced to the Chicago media on Thursday.

Namely, Rondo asserted that the Bulls are still Jimmy Butler’s team despite the additions of himself and Dwyane Wade.

Rondo: "it's Jimmy's team. Jimmy, Wade and then whatever after that."

— Vincent Goodwill (@vgoodwill) July 7, 2016

Rondo, who is also regarded as a ball-dominant point guard, played down concerns that the trio of guards would not have enough touches between them.

Rondo on three ball dominant guards: "I know how to keep guys happy, I spread the ball around."

Rondo certainly sounds confident, and why wouldn’t he? The Bulls, however, have an unusual dilemma. Three ball-dominant guards who do not shoot well from deep is going to be a big issue for Chicago. There are solutions – there have been some rumblings that the Bulls would still be willing to listen to offers for Butler – but that may have changed with the addition of Wade. Coach Fred Hoiberg has a difficult job ahead of him.
