Stephen Curry knocked down the game-winning shot for the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night to give them a win over the Dallas Mavericks. With the score tied 93-93 and less than a second difference between the shot clock and game clock, Curry was able to gain just enough separation from Shawn Marion to drain a shot just inside the 3-point line.
The basket gave Golden State a two-point lead with 1.5 seconds left, leaving the Mavericks just enough time for a desperation full-court heave that was off the mark. Curry, whose incredible shooting skills have been well-documented, finished with 33 points and 10 assists. He played the role of hero, and his wife treated him accordingly after the game.
Post game snacks for my love. Grilled cheese on homemade bread, popcorn (his fave) and homemade sugar cookies. pic.twitter.com/sdLzGE4Wlq
