Stephen Curry is doing all he can to get back onto the court to help the Golden State Warriors defend their title, and that includes platelet-rich plasma therapy.
Curry told reporters on Tuesday that received platelet-rich plasma treatment on the second day of his recovery process, according to Diamond Leung of the San Jose Mercury News. The reigning NBA MVP suffered a sprained MCL in Golden State’s Game 4 win over the Houston Rockets in the opening round.
The Warriors cruised to another win over the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday night and now have a 2-0 series lead, so Curry doesn’t exactly have to rush back. However, he has expressed optimism that he could return for Game 3.
