St John’s is making a change with their men’s basketball program and apparently has a candidate in mind for the job.
CBS Sports college basketball reporter Jon Rothstein said on Monday that Chris Mullin was expected to step down as St. John’s current coach. He further reported that Bobby Hurley will be at the top of their list for a replacement:

You knew Mullin was on the hot seat when rumors were flying about the Red Storm potentially looking for a new head coach.
Mullin, the best player in the program’s history, took over for Steve Lavin and went a putrid 8-24 in his first season. They improved each successive season and went 21-13 this season, though they lost in the First Four.
Hurley just completed his fourth season at Arizona State following two at Buffalo. He’s led the Sun Devils to the NCAA Tournament two years in a row and has drawn attention for pulling off wins against Kansas two seasons in a row.
