The North Carolina Central Eagles clinched their third straight NCAA Tournament bid on Saturday by winning the MEAC tournament, but their head coach is well aware of the road ahead of them.
The Eagles are almost certain to be one of the 16 seeds in this year’s tournament, and while many small schools would be eager and enthusiastic about wanting to bring on the likes of the Duke Blue Devils, head coach LeVelle Moton is being a little more realistic.

Zion Williamson has made huge schools look bad all season, so you have to admire Moton’s honesty. Keep your head up, coach. Maybe you can be the 16 seed that draws Virginia, where you can try to make lightning strike twice in as many years.
