Calvin Johnson makes DK Metcalf look small in video of their meeting
Not many human beings on planet Earth can make DK Metcalf look small. Calvin Johnson is on that short list.
On Monday, the Detroit Lions inducted Johnson into the team’s ring of honor. The ceremony happened during halftime of the Lions’ Week 4 contest against the Seattle Seahawks at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich.
Johnson and Metcalf were able to share a moment following the induction. Metcalf, who stands at 6’4″ and weighs 235 pounds, looked like an average-sized human standing next to Johnson.

Johnson is listed at 6’5″ but looks to have at least a couple of inches on Metcalf. Johnson looked like he could still give Dan Campbell a few snaps if called upon.
Just the thought of Johnson and Metcalf sharing the same wide receiver room would probably give any NFL defensive coordinator nightmares.
The Lions’ offense made sure to impress their guest of honor against Metcalf’s Seahawks. Detroit scored six touchdowns in a 42-29 win over Seattle.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff was a perfect 18/18 for 292 yards with 2 touchdowns in the contest. Goff even channeled his inner “Megatron” when he caught a TD in the third quarter.
Metcalf wasn’t bad himself. The Seahawks wideout finished with 7 catches for 104 yards in the losing effort.
