Julian Edelman had a great reaction to his former teammate, Jimmy Garoppolo, getting a massive contract from the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday.
Garoppolo got a five-year, $137.5 million deal from the 49ers, which is the richest contract in NFL history in terms of average annual value.
So what did Edelman think of the deal? Here’s the tweet he sent Garoppolo:

Garoppolo was drafted by the Patriots in 2014 and spent three and a half seasons in New England with Edelman, so it’s easy to see that they’re friendly with each other. You have to love the tweet though. Garoppolo will now have plenty of money to spread around, and it seems like a great investment by the 49ers.
