Numerous reports indicated on Monday that Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants were on the verge of finalizing a massive contract extension for the star receiver, and a brief look inside the team’s locker room all but confirmed those reports.
Not long after word surfaced that Beckham and the Giants have agreed to a record-breaking new contract, fellow wide receiver Sterling Shepard shared a video on social media of Beckham and his teammates celebrating with the hit song “For the Love of Money” by The O’Jays playing in the background.

If you believe in team chemistry being a predictor of success, that should be a good sign for the Giants heading into 2018.
Beckham has done everything the Giants have asked of him this offseason, and he chose not to hold out for a new contract like many other star players across the league have done. While he made headlines for the wrong reasons again earlier this offseason, Beckham has obviously done enough to convince the Giants he is worthy of a massive investment.
