Is the New England Veteran Rehabilitation Train about to roll out of the station once again?
According to a report by Jason Cole of Bleacher Report on Friday, the Patriots are interested in signing free agent running back Arian Foster, but the interest is said to only be “preliminary” at this point in time.
Source said that #Patriots interest in RB Arian Foster is "just preliminary."

A four-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro selection, the 29-year-old Foster used to be one of the most dynamic runners in the league during his time in Houston. But nagging injuries (including most recently a ruptured Achilles he suffered last October) have sapped Foster of the talent he once had. He was released by the Texans in March.
Foster is said to be progressing well in his Achilles rehab, but he was deemed not yet healthy after a recent visit with the Dolphins and could still be several weeks away from being declared 100 percent.
The Patriots would pose an interesting destination for Foster to reclaim some of his old gridiron glory. They just re-signed LeGarrette Blount but Dion Lewis is still working his way back from a torn ACL, meaning that the opportunity could be there in the backfield for Foster.
If New England does wind up taking a flier on Foster, hopefully they have the foresight to keep him away from the team hot tub.
