Cowboys DE Randy Gregory declares himself ready for game action
Randy Gregory has not appeared in an NFL game in well over a year, but the Dallas Cowboys star insists he is ready for game action.
Gregory, who was suspended for the entire 2017 season following multiple failed drug tests, was reinstated by the NFL exactly a month ago. The Cowboys have eased him back in and said they are pleased with his conditioning, and Gregory said Friday that he is ready for live football.
Randy Gregory said he’s ready to play in a game and it might happen Saturday.

Gregory is expected to be rusty after so much time off, but he should provide Dallas with a big boost along the defensive line when he’s back up to speed. The 25-year-old is likely down to his last strike with the league given his history of off-field trouble, and he is looking to prove the Cowboys did not waste a draft pick on him.
