Many are figuring that Peyton Manning will retire after winning the Super Bowl earlier this month, but at least one of his teammates would not be surprised to see the quarterback return.
Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman was quoted by The Denver Post’s Nicki Jhabvala as saying Manning’s return would not surprise him.
.@MrHillman2U on potential Peyton return: "I wouldn't be surprised. He has a competitive drive that a lot of people can't even understand."

Manning, 39, is coming off his worst statistical season ever. He threw for just nine touchdowns and 17 interceptions, with a 59.8 completion percentage and just 2,249 yards. He declined to speak on his retirement plans following his Super Bowl win over the Carolina Panthers, but his dad Archie said he does not expect Peyton to return to the Broncos. That means if Manning does play another season, it would likely be for a new team.
Some teams are said to have interest in Peyton if he decides to play another year. One such team reportedly is the Los Angeles Rams.
