Russell Wilson started Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers despite battling an ankle injury, and he may be hurting twice as much on Monday morning.
Wilson’s left leg bent awkwardly underneath him while he was being tackled on a scramble in the second half.
While it looked at first like Wilson may have suffered another ankle injury (on the other leg), he was later seen on the sidelines putting a knee brace on his left knee. He went back into the game for a few plays before being replaced by Trevone Boykin.
Wilson has played through a number of injuries, so it would be unwise to assume he will miss any time next week. That said, he’s obviously very banged up.
