Steve Smith less than impressed with NFL Network Top 100 List
NFL Network’s recent release of their annual list of the 100 best players in the league always gets some publicity, but not all of the players in the league are fond of it.
Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith is apparently one of them. Smith was not on the 2016 Top 100, unsurprisingly, after missing most of the season with an Achilles injury. The network’s Twitter account, however, used Smith’s name to promote it with a few words from teammate Justin Forsett.
Smith decided to let them have it.
You got guys who didn't even play this season F___ UR #NFLtop100 16yrs vote on that ? https://t.co/I196gUbedF pic.twitter.com/UBNLKWWD6I

Who’s surprised? Smith isn’t the type to take slights, perceived or real, lying down. If he considers not being on an arbitrary list of the league’s top players a slight, even after an injury-wrecked season, well, have at it, Steve.
