Teddy Bridgewater ‘should be good to go’ on Sunday

The Vikings expect to have Teddy Bridgewater back under center for them on Sunday just a week after suffering a concussion in Minnesota’s 21-18 victory over the Rams.

“He should be good to go, I think,” coach Mike Zimmer said during his Monday press conference.

Bridgewater isn’t completely out of the woods. Though he has passed the NFL’s first concussion protocol test, he must make it through a strenuous workout with no ill effects before being cleared to play. That said, the Vikings appear optimistic regarding his status, and it’s good news, particularly since Bridgewater looked like he’d been knocked out cold after LaMarcus Joyner’s hit.

Zimmer, who felt the hit was dirty, declined to go into further details on Monday, but he did seem to indicate that he’d taken his complaints to the NFL.

“My conversations with the league I think we’ll keep between me and the league,” he said.
