The Minnesota Vikings may not be planning to trade Stefon Diggs, but that does not mean the star wide receiver is happy with his current situation.
Diggs missed practice on Wednesday but has not been listed on the injury report, which further fueled speculation that he is on the verge of being traded. However, there have been numerous reports that the Vikings have no intention of dealing him. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reiterated that on Thursday, though he said some Vikings players are unsure if Diggs wants to remain with the team or not.
On #Vikings WR Stefon Diggs: His frustration with the organization has been palpable. He was not at practice yesterday for non-injury reasons. Teammates are left wondering if he wants to be there. The team is adamant he is not available for a trade, barring some massive deal.

Minnesota’s offense has become more run-oriented this year, and Diggs has just 13 catches through four games after catching a career-high 102 passes on 149 targets in 2018. It seems like he is unhappy with his role on the team and could be trying to force a trade.
In addition to his unexplained absence from practice on Wednesday, Diggs also helped fuel rumors that he might be traded to the New England Patriots with some of his social media activity. However, he is signed through 2023 after he agreed to a five-year, $72 million deal with the Vikings last year. That contract may deter some teams.
