Derrick Rose joined his teammates on the Chicago Bulls bench during a game for the first time this season, which is a great sign no matter how you look at it.
Rose has been out since tearing his ACL late last April in the playoffs. His rehab has been going somewhat slowly, and he said last month he wouldn’t mind missing the season if decides his knee is not ready. But, last week, a video emerged of Rose dunking in practice.
Between Rose practicing with the team, dunking, and now sitting on the team’s bench for a road game at Indiana, all signs seem to be pointing to him getting closer to re-joining the team. At the least, it’s a good sign that the relationship between Rose and his team appears strong despite his brother’s recent comments.Google+
