Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler walk out on Lakers (Video)

jack nicholson wavesHow bad are the Los Angeles Lakers? So bad that actor Jack Nicholson decided to walk out of a game with over seven minutes left.

Nicholson is one of the franchise’s most notable fans. He has been a Lakers season ticket holder since 1970 and a fixture sitting courtside at the team’s home games for years.

On Friday night, he appeared to be so disgusted with the Lakers’ play that he left the game with the team down 103-81 and 7:31 remaining. But that’s not all — Nicholson also took actor Adam Sandler with him.

The Lakers lost 116-101 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. They have now lost six in a row and are 15-21.

On the bright side, at least Nicholson wasn’t caught sleeping during the game this time.

Another loss for the Lake show yes come on Lakers Phoenix will get your first round pick lottery baby..

  • RallyMonkeyUSA

Good for him. These players should be ashamed at their effort. Why the hell is Ron arrest shooting 18 times a game? Why isn’t Nash shooting 18 times a game, and where the heck is Jodie Meeks? This team is lost in all facets of the game and mike d Antoni couldn’t help if he tried.

This made me LOL, it’s sad but true, if I were a PHX fan I’d love for them to suck :D

Lakers gotta trade for Tyreke Evans and also take on Salmons’ and Garcia’s contracts. This way they can unload Gasol while being fair to SAC.

Gasol for Tyreke is sort of unfair for the Kings, but the deal should get some consideration because they know Tyreke will be leaving bar a fat contract.

  • Nick P.

The Kings have enough bigs to add another one. This trade would only favor the Lakers, and I don’t think they’re THAT dumb! If anything they should be looking for draft picks or a rising star before their apparent move to Seattle. Oh, and who said Tyreke deserves a “fat contract”!? The guy has been an underachiever forever and not even teams with huge cap space would take a gamble on an undeserved contract!

  • Nick P.

The new people at the helm in LA just suck! They built a team built around Nash’s run-n-gun game, with the wrong personnel! They also focused on stars without taking into account Dwight’s childish/selfish ways and the lack of a legit bench. At this point their chances of even making the playoffs look very, very bleak! Can’t blame Jack on walking out on them…

No worries Jack……………………….Cavs will be in town tomorrow.

The glory days are way over.  Kupchack and dantoni are horrible.

Nash was brought to LA to be a distributor and get everyone involved and not shooting alot like he did in Phoenix….hope everyone understands this and doesn’t keep asking this stupid question again.

     They need to fire Kupchak!

  • Zoehne

Well, what can Mitch Kupcek do now? He already blundered once by hiring Mike Brown then firing him before the season started in earnest. Then he blundered again when he hired Mike D’Antoni, who, without a doubt, is over-rated. Then he brought in 45 year old Steve Nash and expects him to run up and down the court as if he was 28 again. How, or where can Mitch hide now? I would say, do like he did before, cover his ass by firing Mike D’Antoni and bring in Nate Mcmillan; then trade Steve Nash, Pau Gasol, Antawn Jamison and some of the little used players on the bench for Tyreke Evans,  John Salmon, Rudy Gay, if he is on the trading block; and Josh Smith. If we can add those kinds of players to Kobe, MWP, and Dwight Howard, not only will the Lakers be revitalized, but will instantly obtain the youth and vitality needed to be competitive in the most rugged basketball league on planet earth.

Bro, i dont think you understand how this whole system works.  Kupchak is the general manager, he makes trades and handle players on the team, but Jim Buss is controlling the whole team.  Jim Buss is the person making the decisions regardless of what Kupchak says and has control of everything.  We shouldn’t even be able to call Mitch the GM anymore because Jim Buss is controlling the Lakers as a dictatorship. Yes the Lakers are having problems, but Mitch is not the person to blame for any of this.  When the Father Jerry Buss was in charge he let Mitch take care of player management without putting a knife to his throat or not giving a fu** about his consideration. Learn how a team is run before you throw somebody under the buss.  Did you hear the interview Jim Buss had on 710 espn la? He said HE chose the best coach nash not for the team.  Learn your shi* bro

Its not kupchack, its jim buss my friend.  He’s not letting mitch do his job.  Jim Buss is taking over what kupchak is doing even though kupchak got us two championships while Jimmy buss was drinking.

Jim Buss is the person controlling the team. Mitch isnt being able to handle the team as he used to that got us Pau and two rings.

I think the Lakers lost to the Cavs just recently.  I wouldn’t take them lightly, especially the way the Lakers are playing on defense.  Been watching Lakers since Magic era and this is probably top 3 worse Lakers squads I’ve seen play.  My belief is that there is good news for us Lakers fans come playoff time, if this team can build some chemistry  on coming up with a defensive plan that works.  Offense will come around, it’s the defense that needs to either come together or make a trade for some young aggressive defensive minded players.  If it’s true that Nash isn’t shooting much and is way less than his usual, then I say take a chance and let Gasol go, Nash can make up those points, and the players we get in return can fill the gap on defense, because Gasol gets beat way too often on pick n rolls and even one on one situations.  It’s getting annoying, so let’s make a trade and let’s pray it’s for some good players!! Go Lakers!

you have it wrong, see Andre’s comments.

The Cavs did beat the Lakers, last meeting. The Cavs also beat the LA Clippers, Atlanta Hawks, and I think the New York Knicks once too, the Cavs are a very young team, but if you ever get to watch them, there record doesn’t show actually how good they are for a young team. Im pretty sure Koby scored 41 points against the Cavs. I actually feel bad for Koby. He’s a great player and everyone knows it. But they are going to want to get revenge on the Cavs today! But me being a die hard Cavs fan since way back when they played at the Richfield Colesium, I have supported them all the years and never would walk out of them. That’s a true fan, win or lose. Heck, with our record, you should see the fans at the game…awesome! Yes I upset when Lebron left, just the way he left, but actually I was rooting for him to get his ring last year. Glad he did.  We have had so many injuries and that hurts a team, learning to play together. Dont give up on your team (any team ) win or lose, or boo them, they need support not negativity
