The Los Angeles Clippers had a huge offseason that saw them land Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, but they did not stand pat at the trade deadline on Thursday.
The trade that is sending Marcus Morris from the New York Knicks to the Clippers is actually a three-team deal involving the Washington Wizards. Isaiah Thomas has also been traded to LA, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. However, David Aldridge of The Athletic reports that the Clippers do not plan to keep Thomas on their roster.
The Clippers will not be keeping Isaiah Thomas, acquired today from Washington in three-team deal with Knicks that brought Marcus Morris to LA and send Moe Harkless/picks to NYC, per league source.

The Knicks get Maurice Harkless and a 2020 first-round pick in the deal, and Jerome Robinson will go to the Wizards.
Thomas averaged 12.2 in points while playing 23.1 minutes per game in Washington. He has converted 41.3 percent of his three-point attempts, which is a career high.
Thomas was suspended for two games earlier this season after he went into the stands to confront a fan in Philadelphia. He was then fined not long after that for making inappropriate contact with a referee.
