Before Tim Tebow was trying to make it in Major League Baseball, he was an NFL quarterback. Had the former Florida Gators star been willing to change positions, he might still be playing professional football.
There have been rumors that several NFL teams tried to convince Tebow, who has always been considered a tremendous athlete, to transition from a quarterback to an H-back. On Tuesday, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik confirmed that the Bucs were one of those teams.
I called & called agent Jimmy Sexton, begged him & Tim Tebow to come play H-Back for the Bucs but it was always nope, only QB, now baseball

If Tebow would rather not play in the NFL than play a position other than quarterback, that is his choice. If he simply believed he could stay on a roster as a quarterback and had no interest in playing H-back because of that, he may have some regrets.
For those of you who aren’t football nerds, an H-back is basically a combination of a tight end and a fullback. If you remember what Tebow wrote on Twitter a few years back, you know he was probably overly confident in his abilities. Assuming he doesn’t make it as an MLB player, Tebow may end up wondering what could have been if he agreed to change positions.
