Lamar Jackson says he has not been asked to play wide receiver
Lamar Jackson made things quite clear on Friday — he’s going to play quarterback in the NFL.
The former Heisman Trophy winner refuted reports that stated he’s been asked to work out as a wide receiver and said without any doubt that he sees his professional future under center.
"No teams have asked me to play WR. I don't know where that came from. I'm a quarterback." -Lamar Jackson

Reports had indicated that some teams had asked Jackson to work out at receiver. Whatever the case, he is not going to do it. Jackson feels he can be an NFL quarterback, and he’s probably earned the shot to start out there.
