Bills running back LeSean McCoy has escaped discipline from the league for his alleged role in a nightclub brawl last February.
According to a report by Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News on Wednesday, the NFL will not punish McCoy for a physical alteraction he and three others had with two off-duty police officers at a club in Philadelphia.

Police were initially recommending criminal charges against the 28-year-old Pro Bowler. Ultimately however, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office pushed back on filing any charges due to lingering questions about the conduct of the off-duty officers in the incident.
McCoy was always unlikely to be punished by the league since he did not wind up facing any legal consequences. After rushing for just 895 yards and three touchdowns in his first season with Buffalo last year (thanks in part to various injuries and a new offensive scheme), Shady is now free to focus on how he can improve on those numbers heading into the 2016 campaign.
