It does not matter that Tom Brady is 42 years old. It does not matter that his team is up three scores. He’s still going to try to throw a block.
On a reverse play to Phillip Dorsett, Brady got out in front of the runner and tried to throw a block against oncoming Jets safety Jamal Adams. It didn’t quite work, but kudos for the effort all the same.

Brady’s team was nursing a 23-point lead, so the quarterback could’ve been forgiven if he sort of bailed on the play. No chance of that. And besides, watching Brady throw blocks is really kind of hilarious. Perhaps he was preparing for moments like these with all those yoga moves.
