Mike Zimmer won’t name Vikings’ Week 2 starting quarterback until Sunday
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer continues to be coy about his team’s starting quarterback situation.
Zimmer said on Monday that he won’t reveal who, between Shaun Hill and Sam Bradford, is going to be his Week 2 starter until game day itself, per Matt Vensel of the Star Tribune.

Hill got the nod in Week 1, leading the team to a 25-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans. But he didn’t knock anybody’s socks off, finishing 18-of-33 for 236 yards with zero touchdowns or interceptions.
Bradford was recently said to be “close” to taking over starting duties, but we already saw Zimmer do this dance last week. With the Vikings facing a tough matchup next Sunday against the Green Bay Packers, it’s a decision that truly could go either way.
